Android 4.4 KitKat

Google has confirmed that the next version of Android will be called KitKat . KitKat will be Android 4.4 . The Name keeps the tradition of naming mobile operating system after Deserts .

Google says that "it's our goal with Android KitKat to make an amazing Android experience available for everybody." Google plans to use its next Android release in smartwatches, gaming consoles, low-cost smartphones, and even laptops.

Google recently launched the new Nexus 7 tablet running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. So, we expect the Nexus 5 and an updated Nexus 10 to introduce 4.4 KitKat soon.
