Apple officially announces white iPhone 4 – releases on April 28th

The long-awaited Apple white iPhone 4 will finally go on sale tomorrow. Apple has officically announced that the white iPhone 4 will be available from April 28th on the Apple online stores and across 28 countries, including the US. Also, Apple has announced that the iPad 2 will be released in Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and eight other countries tomorrow and Friday. The iPad 2 with Wi-Fi will be available in China next week.
The white iPhone 4 is pretty much the same spec as the black iPhone 4; including a five-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and 720p video recording, a front-facing cam for FaceTime, the A4 processor, 512MB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of internal storage, a 960×640 Retina Display.
In US, the white iPhone 4 will be available on both AT&T and Verizon networks

BlackBerry PlayBook tablet now available

Fans of RIM, makers of BlackBerry smartphones cult, now have the chance to seize the company’s first tablet, the BlackBerry PlayBook. We first spoke of the PlayBook tablet last Sept when it was unveiled, but now its finally available, at prices starting from $500.

The base model comes with 16GB capacity but for those who would prefer to have more storage space, you can check out the 32GB version for $600 and around $700 for the top model with 64GB memory.

Toshiba ANT Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet official

fter we had the opportunity to look at the new Toshiba Android tablet during the MWC in Barcelona in 2011, well the tab has now received a formal name. The tablet, will be called Toshiba ANT and will have a starting price of $450, according to a product page seen on Newegg.

The base model with the lowest pricetag (ANT-100) comes with 8GB internal memory, whereas ANT-102 offers 16 GB at a price of $500, just $50 more. And finally, you can buy the ANT-103 version for 580 dollars, all models have in common a multi-touch screen with resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and comes with NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor which boasts 1 GHz. There will be a 5 megapixel rear camera and a front 2 megapixel camcorder which will also play a role in acting as a webcam

Sony S1 and S2 dual-screen Android Honeycomb tablets to be released this fall

Since after the launch of Apple iPad 2, many companies has rolled out there own tablet but none proved to be as catchy as the gold standard iPad. This time,  Sony has also joined the same race and has announced to launch two new Android 3. HoneyComb tablets by the end of 2011. Sony has named them Sony S1 and S2.

Sony has taken a step ahead from all tablet and introduced two unique tablets which are entirely different from each other in design. Sony S1 is a slate type 9.4 inch tablet whereas S2 is a dual-screen tablet which packs two 5.5-inch screens. Both these tablets runs on android HoneyComb.

Sony S1 has a strange rolled shape and an “off center of gravity design” that lets you hold it more firmly. It packs a Tegra 2 chip which will allow it to handle HD content playback. It also has an IR port for AV controls, DLNA support and the ability to work with Sony’s Bravia line of TVs. It should also let you access the Playstation Suite games.
Sony S2 has two 1,024 x 480 screens, which allows you to use two separate screens for two different apps or combine them into one large screen for web browsing

Latest Nokia X7 smartphone announced

Since Nokia has announced its partnership with Microsoft, the company hasn’t released any Windows Phone 7 device, but that doesn’t mean that Nokia will stop working on new devices of their own. Now Nokia has announced two new Symbian based smartphones – the X7 and the E6.

The X7 is a touchscreen smartphone that is focused more on entertainment, and boasting a 4-inch 640×360 AMOLED touch display, its ideal for watching HD videos and will allow for an improved browsing experince.
The new Nokia X7 will run on a new version of Symbian, which is know as Symbian Anna PR2. This new operating system has an improved on-screen keyboard, a better browser, an enhanced Ovi Map and so aims to provide an overall better user experience.
