Facebook introduces improved group chat, new design and video calls

In order to keep the no.1 place as the most popular social network, Facebook is constantly working on new improvements, and if you’re looking for new features on Facebook, we’re pleased to inform you that after six months of hard work Facebook has decided to introduce some new features.

First new feature is the new and improved Group Chat. As you know, in order to chat with a Group on Facebook, you need to create a group first, but now, you can simply click the invite a friend button in the chat window and that’s it. Of course, if any participant of Group Chat isn’t online at the moment, he will get chat log when he comes back online. In addition to Group Chat, Facebook decided to improve its design by adding a sidebar that holds the list of most frequently contacted friends, so you can easily find a friend to chat. Last major addition is the Video Calling, and in order to video call a friend, you can do it simply from your friend’s profile or from your chat list. In order to use this feature, you’ll need a special plugin and that’s all, no external application or registration is required.
These features sound amazing and they should be available publicly later today for the desktop version of the
website, so we can’t wait to try them out.
